About the Role
As a Senior Backend Developer at Chift, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our software connectors and platform, which are crucial for helping our clients. You will be deeply involved in mastering and understanding our various technological components, implementing and documenting connectors for accounting, cash register software, billing, and e-commerce. A strong affinity with accounting logic is highly recommended.
Responsibilities
- Master and understand our different technological components.
- Implement and document connectors for various applications.
- Add routes to different unified APIs and set up integrations with supported software.
- Data modeling.
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a startup environment.
- Proficiency in Python. Knowledge of SQL and JavaScript is a plus!
- Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and new technologies (Docker).
- Beyond technical skills, a strong interest in business is highly recommended as integrations impact financial tools and finances, so understanding the logic before coding is essential.
- Love for analyzing, applying, and testing these analyses is crucial.
