Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to enhance our team. This role is fully remote and requires a solid background in software development, exceptional problem-solving skills, and strong critical thinking abilities. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be pivotal in developing and optimizing our backend systems to ensure superior performance for our users.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and improve existing backend services.
- Test, deploy, and debug APIs to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Write clear, robust code adhering to best practices.
- Collaborate on technical designs, code reviews, and documentation.
- Contribute to infrastructure across various platforms including mobile, desktop, and server-side applications.
Requirements
- BS or MS in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of software development experience focusing on quality code.
- Proficiency in building scalable systems.
- Experience troubleshooting live software systems and knowledge of CI/CD practices.
- Strong communication skills in English.
