About the Role
We are seeking experienced Senior and Staff Software Engineers to join our engineering team. This role is fully remote, available only to candidates based in the USA. You will be part of a bootstrapped, profitable company that values autonomy and impact, working to double the productivity of sales reps through better communication tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, launch, and scale major systems and user-facing features.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Work with a variety of technologies including Python, Flask, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and more.
- Utilize AWS for infrastructure management, deploying services with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of all backend services.
- Collaborate in a fully distributed team environment, ensuring effective communication and synchronization.
- Participate in code reviews, maintaining high standards of code quality and system reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend system development.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Flask framework.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
