Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer at McMakler, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems within a microservices architecture. You will collaborate with a diverse Scrum team to build and optimize applications that enhance our business operations and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend systems.
- Work within a microservices architecture to integrate various services and ensure seamless data flow.
- Utilize Golang, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch to build and maintain applications.
- Implement containerization techniques to enhance application deployment and scalability.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and foster a collaborative environment.

What We Expect
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend engineering.
- Proficiency in Golang and familiarity with REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization.
- Experience with data warehouses and modern backend engineering tools and frameworks.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Business fluency in English; German is a plus.
