Job Overview
ShiftKey is seeking a Senior Node.js Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. This role is pivotal in our transformation project, transitioning from a monolithic architecture to a polyglot microservices environment. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance solutions that serve millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create web software applications, focusing on coding, debugging, testing, code review, and troubleshooting.
- Customer and Business Goals: Understand customer needs and business objectives to ensure impactful work.
- Project Management: Define deliverables and milestones, ensuring timely completion.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Manager and other teams to make informed decisions.
- Mentorship: Guide less-experienced team members, providing technical advice and setting a good example.
- Recruitment: Participate in interviews and evaluate potential new team members.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience: At least 6 years in the JavaScript ecosystem, with hands-on experience in microservices architecture using Node.js.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in event-driven architecture, ideally with Kafka, and AWS deployment.
- CI/CD: Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and working in an Agile environment.
- Languages: Fluency in Polish and English.
