Your Role

• Play a crucial role in supporting our hybrid cloud transformation and act as a subject matter expert for relevant Azure products.
• Support growing business needs using public cloud services (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS).
• Enhance effectiveness through scripting, templates, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Stay informed on current industry technologies and implement industry-standard and security best practices.
• Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including resource provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy enforcement, and vulnerability remediation.
• Actively monitor systems and services and manage incident escalations.
• Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
• Develop strategies and policies for MS Azure governance and security.
• Mentor and serve as a key contact for less experienced IT colleagues.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in computer science or a similar qualification.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• Extensive practical experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions and supporting large, complex systems.
• Expertise in Azure (Entra ID, Virtual Machines, Intune, Enterprise Apps, Azure Virtual Desktop).
• Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (Privileged Identity Management, Conditional Access).
• Experience with ARM Templates for infrastructure provisioning.
• Ability to apply practical experience in IT project management.
• Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders in German and English.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of working independently and as part of a diverse, international team.
