Senior Cloud Consultant - Germany

Job Summary

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud Consultant to join our team in Germany. As a subject matter expert in Red Hat’s infrastructure and cloud technology, you will provide insights and lead the implementation of automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and deliver solutions that provide freedom, flexibility, and outstanding performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions focusing on infrastructure concerns such as networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, and high availability.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on-site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs.
• Learn new technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs.
• Adapt to changing customer requirements.
• Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions.
• Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner.
• Deliver quality results both on-site and post-engagement that are on time and within the scope of the assigned project, including project journals, status reports, and other standard documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a consulting role.
• Excellent customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level.
• Experience implementing container technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments.
• Knowledge of one or more Red Hat’s infrastructure solutions like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or Ansible Automation Platform.
• Understanding of the open source community.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
• Willingness to travel across the region.
• Excellent written and verbal language skills in German and English.
• Red Hat Certifications are considered a plus.
