Job Overview
As a Cloud Architect Engineer at Microsoft, located in Hamburg, Germany, you will play a pivotal role in enabling customers to achieve their desired outcomes through Microsoft technology. Your expertise in Microsoft Identity and Security, including AD, ADFS, and Entra ID, will be crucial in leading technical discussions and driving value from customer investments in Microsoft solutions.
Responsibilities
- Engage actively with business and technical decision makers to drive intent, enablement, and usage of customer-owned Microsoft Identity and Security Solutions.
- Identify and resolve issues blocking customer success projects.
- Articulate, demonstrate, and present complex customer concepts to varied audiences, including Business Decision Makers (BDMs) and Information Technology Decision Makers (ITDMs).
- Serve as the subject matter expert in Microsoft Identity and Security, designing customer solutions and leading presentations, demonstrations, and design thinking workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Tiering, Group Policy, ADFS, preferably in a large-scale environment.
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 Defender Suite, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Entra ID, IaaS, Network Security, Data Security.
- Multiyear experience in a customer-facing role in information technology (IT).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English & German languages is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of either AD CS (PKI) or MIM.
- Familiarity and certification with other Microsoft technologies, such as Entra ID, Sentinel, and Defender.
