Job Description
Role Overview
As a Senior System Engineer specializing in Virtualization, Storage, and Backup, you will be responsible for developing complex systems and services that align with comprehensive business requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of ICT architectures, networks, and applications, as well as the ability to lead strategic projects and collaborate with international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance complex systems and services, considering holistic business requirements and implications throughout the development process.
- Create complex technical concepts/specifications for systems, including technology consulting at the management level.
- Design and define standards for system tests, test automation, and system documentation.
- Coordinate and support complex rollouts of NT/IT-supported processes/systems into regular operation.
- Manage internal or external partners for system development and work closely with other teams in an international environment.
- Lead projects with strategic relevance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive knowledge in solution design and ICT architectures, networks, and applications.
- Experience in creating and describing technical solutions within the framework of offer creation and the pre-sales process.
- Expert knowledge in server, storage, VMware (VSphere, VCenter), Git, Ansible, scripting, backup (Bareos, Veeam), Windows OS, and provisioning automation.
- Excellent knowledge of information technologies, IP technologies, and protocols, with the ability to act across topics.
- Several years of experience in agile thinking and working methods.
- Willingness to undergo security checks.
- On-call duty and recall readiness.
