Senior Data Scientist
Are you ready to make a significant impact at one of the world's most recognizable brands? Red Bull is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Elsbethen, Salzburg, Austria. In this role, you will contribute to global Data Science projects, enabling business stakeholders to make better data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver Projects: Manage, run, and deliver Data Science projects from start to finish. This includes project scoping, execution, quality assurance, and delivery through compelling presentations. Your primary focus will be on machine learning modeling.

Drive Innovation: Propose new ways to generate value for stakeholders by introducing new data-driven business ideas, statistical methods, and data products.

Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your collaborative attitude and ability to absorb feedback will be crucial in ensuring the success of Data Science initiatives.

Support & Guide: Work within the Data Science Team to provide theoretical and applied understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms. Develop statistical/ML models that support various data-driven projects, ensuring consistency with organizational data standards.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Data Science, with previous experience as a Machine Learning Expert being a plus.
- Master's or Doctorate in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Science.
- Proficiency in English, with German being a plus.
- Experience managing a team is advantageous.
- Programming skills in R, Python, and SQL, with a willingness to learn the others.
- Strong data literacy and statistical reasoning skills.
- Technical literacy in modern computing, including git, API calls, and web crawling.
- Excellent presentation skills and stakeholder management abilities.
- Pragmatic critical thinking and outcome-driven mindset.

Compensation
Due to legal reasons, we disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,605 gross per month. However, our compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is significantly above the stated minimum.
