About the Role
Inclusively is partnering with a voice, video, and text communication service to hire a Senior Data Scientist, Analytics - Performance & Quality. This role is not an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be a key player in the Data Science & Analytics team, helping to create a sense of belonging in online communities. You will work closely with various teams to provide insights that directly influence user growth and enhance the user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Teams: Collaborate with teams throughout the company to manage the full lifecycle of data analytics, from ideation and exploratory analysis to building dashboards and reports, and conducting A/B testing.
- Define KPIs: Establish key performance indicators and diagnostic metrics to improve user experience, encapsulating these measures in clean, crisp dashboards that provide timely and actionable information.
- Data Infrastructure: Utilize the company's infrastructure to quickly and easily build custom data sets to monitor novel product features and processes.
- Socialize Insights: Proactively share insights, dashboards, and reports with both technical and non-technical audiences, soliciting feedback for improvement.
- Champion A/B Testing: Lead the design, analysis, and interpretation of A/B tests across the company.
- Collaborate with Engineering: Work with data and engineering teams to design scalable and future-proof instrumentation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in translating ambiguous business problems into deep informative insights through hands-on analytics.
- Dashboard Development: 4+ years of experience building performance dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or similar software, with proficiency in designing clean visualizations.
- SQL Proficiency: 3+ years of experience writing excellent SQL.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to translate complicated findings or technical approaches into easy-to-understand formats.
- A/B Testing: 2+ years of experience in the design, analysis, and interpretation of A/B tests in a large data environment.
- Collaborative Attitude: A desire to work with passionate people who care deeply about solving challenging problems.

- Passion for online communities or the company’s mission.
- Experience with technical leadership or being the point person for stakeholder groups.
- Experience with analytics for social media or international subscription-based online services.
- Experience in the performance and reliability space of online applications.
- Experience writing performant code in BigQuery SQL.
- Experience with writing production ETL.
Compensation and Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000 to $201,500, plus equity and benefits. The salary ranges are determined by role and level, with individual pay determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
