Veikkaus Oy is seeking a talented Senior Developer to join our dynamic Ecosystem & Platform team at Fennica Gaming. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Helsinki, Finland, with a hybrid work environment that combines the best of both on-site and remote work.
About Us
Fennica Gaming, a subsidiary of Veikkaus, is a B2B company focused on providing international real money gaming solutions and services. Our team is responsible for building and managing essential partner networks, outsourced game development capabilities, and developing data and analytics services.
Your Role
As a Senior Developer, you will be part of a close-knit team working on our exciting Games as a Service platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a modern tech stack, including:
- Frontend: NextJS
- Backend: NestJS
- Languages: TypeScript
- Cloud: Google Cloud Platform
- CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD
- Infrastructure: Terraform
- CMS: Directus CMS
- Other Technologies: Firebase, GraphQL, REST
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive product development.
- Utilize agile methodologies to manage multiple development initiatives.
- Communicate effectively in English; Finnish is a plus.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in backend development, particularly with NestJS.
- Strong skills in React, TypeScript, and REST.
- Experience in leading software development projects.
- Solid understanding of product development and agile working methods.
- A suitable degree or equivalent experience in software development (3-5 years).
