Job Overview
Join Activision Blizzard as a Senior Dev-Ops Engineer in our Warsaw office, where you will be instrumental in shaping the infrastructure and operational strategies of our gaming platforms. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about innovative technology and gaming.
Responsibilities
- Define and support platform-level and resource management initiatives.
- Maintain and improve governance and security tooling and various internal systems.
- Help build out internal best practices around public cloud usage and enablement.
- Work with other engineering teams to help them build applications in the Cloud.
- Work closely with other build, production, and infrastructure teams on ensuring smooth migration to platform.
Qualifications
- Solid SRE/DevOps/Platform engineering experience.
- Experience with public cloud governance, Cloud FinOps, distributed compute environments, serverless compute, application development, big data analytics, cloud computing including containerization, hosted services, and multi-tenant cloud infrastructures.
- Programming experience preferably with Python or Go.
- Good knowledge of SQL, preferably BigQuery.
- Strong Linux and computer networking expertise.
Bonus Points
- Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
- Certified Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or similar.
- Experience rolling out changes to public cloud governance - GCP org policies or IAM controls.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of monitoring systems and frameworks, Google Cloud operations suite, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of BI/reporting tools.
- Experience dealing with hybrid environments with multiple dependencies.
