GeoComply is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our global IT team in Warsaw, Poland. As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, you will focus on improving performance, scalability, efficiency, and security of our IT infrastructure. You will analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust IT solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas and stay at the forefront of IT advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and Scale IT Infrastructure: Oversee servers, storage, networking, and cloud-based services to ensure high availability and security of systems and services.
• Monitor System Performance: Proactively identify and address potential issues to maintain optimal system performance and capacity.
• Resolve IT Incidents: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, providing solutions to restore services quickly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Vendors: Work with vendors and consultants to provide technical design, implementation, and communication plans for IT projects.
• Automate IT Processes: Use scripting, workflows, and integrations to streamline IT operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Network Security Management: Administer firewalls, routers, switches, and AV equipment to ensure network security and availability.
• Asset Management: Manage hardware and software asset inventories, including tracking asset lifecycles and maintenance contracts.
• Train IT Support Engineers: Provide guidance and training to ensure consistent and effective project implementation.
• Stay Updated with Technology Trends: Evaluate and recommend new technologies and processes to enable continuing innovation of the IT infrastructure.

Who You Are

• Educational Background: Post-secondary education in information systems or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3+ years in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and services, and 5+ years in a cloud-first organization.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IP addressing, routing protocols, network security, and cloud-based identity management solutions.
• Leadership: Experience in providing technical leadership and guidance to other IT engineers.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.

Bonus Points

• IT Certifications (MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, OKTA, Azure)
• Familiarity with SIEM, Crowdstrike, and Zscaler
• Experience with AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, and SQS
