Senior Front-end Developer

Position Overview

Join Independer, the largest independent comparison and advice platform in the Netherlands, as a Senior Front-end Developer. This role is crucial for enhancing our web applications using the latest technologies in a dynamic and agile environment. You will collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product owners to deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining web applications: Utilize Angular and TypeScript to build dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
Collaborating with backend developers: Work closely with backend teams, integrating with .NET 8 services to ensure smooth front-end to back-end communication.
Ensuring high performance: Focus on writing efficient, maintainable code and optimizing application performance.
Creating reusable components: Develop and maintain a component library using Storybook.
Automating tests: Implement unit and end-to-end tests with Jest and Playwright to ensure code quality.
Staying current: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the development process.

A competitive salary range of €5000 to €7200 gross per month, excluding vacation pay and annual bonus.

Who We Are Looking For

Experience: Proven experience with Angular and TypeScript. Familiarity with integrating with backend services (.NET 8).
Skills: Strong understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools. Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright and Jest.
Attributes: Pragmatic, innovative, team player, and detail-oriented.
