Job Overview
As a Senior Frontend Developer at Albert Heijn, you will be instrumental in transforming our traditional tech landscape into a modern, cutting-edge environment. You will join our Supply Chain Execution cluster, which is crucial for the physical delivery of goods from our distribution centers to our stores. This role involves significant responsibility, as you will ensure 24/7 uptime in mission-critical environments, making a substantial impact on our daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Rebuild our traditional tech (OutSystems) into a modern tech stack (React, GraphQL, Azure).
- Develop high-quality code, implement automated testing, and ensure security and code quality.
- Contribute to best practices and deployment strategies.
- Be a proactive team member, helping to remove obstacles and enhance productivity.
- Integrate and expand our supply chain capacity and network.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development.
- Expertise in React.js and familiarity with REST/GraphQL and APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD and cloud environments, particularly Azure.
- Knowledge of application state management and server-side rendering in React is a plus.
- Familiarity with Java/Kotlin and Microservices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in coaching junior/medior developers.
