Role Overview

As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for working on various frontends that are part of our product suite. Initially, your focus will be on transitioning two frontends of our Credit Care product to a new GraphQL backend. As you progress, you will develop new features and expand existing functionalities.

Your experience will be crucial in developing a scalable and robust frontend architecture that aligns with our products. You will also play a key role in improving deployment pipelines, test automation, and other frontend processes.

You are an engineer at heart, capable of making independent decisions to solve problems effectively. You communicate transparently and collaborate with colleagues, including the tech lead, to explore better solutions within the architectural framework.

Our Tech Stack

We utilize a modern cloud-native stack, leveraging cloud services to avoid reinventing the wheel. Our frontends are built with Angular and hosted on AWS using Docker containers in ECS. The backend is accessed via a GraphQL API built on AWS AppSync. We use a NoSQL database accessed through AWS Lambda functions, with infrastructure-as-code written in Python using CDK.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with frontend development in a modern JavaScript framework.
• Strong technical frontend skills, with less emphasis on UX and design.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining frontend architecture.
• Knowledge of secure client-side frontend development.

Preferred Skills

• Professional experience with Angular.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with modern CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Experience with Cypress for testing.
• Responsive web design expertise.
• Experience with Bootstrap.
• Experience with Docker and AWS.
• Experience in the financial sector is a plus.
