Assembled is on a mission to transform and elevate customer support teams with our innovative software solutions. We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our New Products Team, which operates like a startup within a startup. This team is focused on building a new AI-based product to enhance the efficiency of support agents.
About the Role
In this role, you will be a key contributor to our frontend product experience, leading innovation and championing user-centric design. You will work closely with our users to understand their needs and use this knowledge to influence our product roadmap. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead Frontend Innovation: Serve as the primary contributor for improving our frontend product experience.
- Champion User-Centric Design: Ensure our product design is intuitive, accessible, and easy to use.
- Pioneer New Features: Develop exceptional features that delight our customers.
- Embed with Users: Work directly with users to understand their usage and influence our roadmap.
- Wear Many Hats: Engage in diverse challenges, from coding to user interaction and team collaboration.
- Influence Product Roadmap: Collaborate with the team to shape and execute product strategy.
- Shape the Culture: Foster a startup mindset characterized by optimism and a bias toward action.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering as an individual contributor.
- Proficient with frontend frameworks and languages, specifically React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Experience as an early hire at a startup, ideally with fewer than 50 people.
- Proven track record of building and scaling products from the ground up.
- Quick to act, adapt, and find solutions with limited data.
- Excited to work directly with customers.
- [Nice to have] Experience with LLMs or generative AI.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: €140,000 - €220,000 per year.
- Equity: Stock options are part of the compensation package.
