About the Role

As a Frontend Developer at zappl.ai, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing user-facing features and optimizing our web applications for maximum speed and scalability. You will work closely with our design and product teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality web applications using React.js, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness across all devices.
• Component Development: Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the development process.
• Integration: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic, APIs, and third-party services.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Testing: Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in frontend development and React.js to continuously improve your skills and the quality of the product.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong focus on React.js, including a portfolio or examples of your work.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a deep understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred:

• Experience with front-end build tools and task runners such as Webpack, Babel, or Gulp.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and its integration with React.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Enzyme.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
