At Basic-Fit, we are on a mission to make fitness accessible for everyone. With 4.1 million members and more than 1,500 clubs in 6 different countries, we are the largest gym chain in Europe, and we’re not slowing down any time soon—we open a new Basic-Fit almost every day!
Your Role
As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in supercharging our clubs with hardware and software. This allows our club hosts to have more time for our members and enables us to keep our clubs accessible 24/7. You will be responsible for building applications that handle millions of requests efficiently and ensuring that our hardware is operational across all 6 countries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable software solutions that enhance the fitness experience for our members.
- Collaborate with a talented team of React (Native) developers, Node.js developers, Product Owners, Designers, and QA Engineers.
- Ensure smooth operation of software and hardware, minimizing errors and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

- Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Storybook, Service Workers, Next.js, Express, Cypress
- Backend: Nest.js, TypeScript, Prisma, Postgres, Redis, Azure EventGrid, Azure ServiceBus
- DevOps: Heroku, Azure DevOps, New Relic, Akamai, GitHub Copilot

Requirements
- Proven experience in full-stack development, particularly with our tech stack.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (we do not sponsor new work visas).
