Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining the backend services for our credit card application data microservices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Spring Framework, and AWS, with a strong understanding of backend web development and API integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for credit card application data microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Must-Have Skills
- Java: Proficient in Java programming with a deep understanding of its ecosystem.
- Spring Framework: Extensive experience with Spring Boot and related technologies.
- AWS: Experience with AWS services and cloud deployment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- GoLang: Experience with Go programming language.
- API Development: Experience in developing and integrating APIs.
Work Environment
This position is based in McLean, VA, with a hybrid work schedule. Candidates should be prepared to work on-site as required.
