As a Senior Full Stack Engineer in our Growth zone, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing Zapier’s logged-in homepage, which is central to our customers' multi-product journey. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with a high-impact team to develop features that enhance user engagement and drive the adoption of Zapier from individuals to large enterprises.
• Use Python and Typescript to build robust backend services and Next.js and React.js for crafting intuitive front-end applications.
• Implement feature flags to deploy code to production and run A/B experiments, ensuring continuous improvement and learning.
• Work with tools like Datadog for monitoring and performance optimization, and deploy applications to Amazon Web Services.
• Engage with product, design, and UX teams to create seamless user experiences.

About You

• You have 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years focused on web-based software products.
• Your expertise lies in backend development, but you are also proficient in building web-based front-ends using React.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and are driven by results, not processes.
• You are proactive in seeking clarity and ensuring alignment with the broader vision.
• You are passionate about shipping new code and improving software iteratively.

Responsibilities

• Build a self-serve adoption framework to drive Zapier’s growth.
• Gamify the Zapier experience to make automation engaging for users.
• Lead the development of Zapier’s logged-in homepage.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to their growth.
• Design RESTful APIs and craft high-performance frontend UIs.
• Run user engagement experiments and monitor system health.
• Resolve bugs and address feature requests promptly.
