Job Overview
Watt Footprint, a pioneering energy management company, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to lead the development of our energy monitoring system and web-app. This role is crucial in our mission to help businesses optimize their energy usage and make a significant impact on reducing global carbon emissions.
Responsibilities
- Lead Development: Spearhead the creation of our new energy management web platform, ensuring an engaging user interface for clients to monitor their energy consumption.
- System Ownership: Take full control of our web-development stack, from feature development to implementation and maintenance.
- Architecture Decisions: Make critical decisions regarding system architecture to support user base growth.
- Data Management: Manage the data pipeline from IoT devices to our cloud database, coordinating with field technicians for smooth data collection.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee our existing cloud infrastructure to ensure application reliability, scalability, and security.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end languages (Python, Node.js, Rails).
- Expertise in managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Senior-level experience with the ability to lead projects from design to implementation.
