We are seeking a talented and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our merchant decisioning team. This role is pivotal in building a scalable platform that supports the underwriting and decisioning processes for thousands of businesses daily.
About the Role
As a Staff Software Engineer at Parafin, you will:
- Own and drive the development of our Python-based underwriting and application decisioning product.
- Define the architecture and infrastructure, from the technologies we use to the design principles we apply.
- Collaborate with data scientists to build a reliable, scalable, and easily iterable platform.
- Integrate machine learning infrastructure to enhance decision-making capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
- A deep commitment to building high-quality infrastructure and a passion for your craft.
- Comfort with owning and driving product development from inception to completion.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals.
- Excitement about working in a small team and setting the foundations for the company.
