About the Position
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on the Lending Products team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our core lending platform. You will own the user journey for all of Parafin's financing products, working closely with stakeholders across the company to launch new products and improve existing ones. This role involves significant responsibility in terms of product development and system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of Core Lending Platform: You will have full ownership of the core lending platform, managing everything from user flows to backend processes.
- Infrastructure Development: Identify, architect, and lead significant infrastructure investments to accelerate product development and enhance system reliability.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with various stakeholders to prioritize, design, and launch new financial products. Regular experimentation with existing products to enhance user experience is expected.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for Quality: You should care deeply about building high-quality software and take pride in your work.
- Leadership Skills: Comfortable owning and driving product development from initial concept to release.
- Strong Engineering Fundamentals: A solid grasp of engineering fundamentals is essential.
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in a product-focused, backend engineering role, preferably in a tech lead capacity.
