Your Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data, Innovation & Analysis (DIA) department, working within the Disko team. This team is responsible for delivering and maintaining data and information products based on a 360-degree customer view. You will help build a data foundation in our new Microsoft Azure cloud environment, enabling data-driven decision-making across NS.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your team to develop smart data solutions for NS.
- Work on unlocking new data sources, both structured and unstructured.
- Design and implement effective data warehouses (DWH) with data pipelines from source to end-user.
- Ensure robust code with relevant processing and data quality controls.
- Take shared responsibility for sprint results and support team members in becoming self-organizing.
- Provide and receive feedback to foster growth and improvement.

Qualifications
- A completed HBO or WO education.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer in an ETL-BI/DWH environment.
- Knowledge of data storage methods such as databases, ADLS, and Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools (ADF/Snowflake USP).
- Experience with data modeling, including object, conceptual, and dimensional data models.
- Familiarity with Data Vault (preferably Data Vault 2.0).
- Experience with Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written.
