About the Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Coinbase, you will be a key player in building and maintaining the frontend and backend of our web applications. You will be responsible for open sourcing our web apps and libraries, managing open source contributions, and assisting teams within Coinbase in building onchain products. Your work will directly contribute to the decentralization of the Base platform and other Layer 2 solutions.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining our frontend web applications with high quality standards.
- Open sourcing our web apps and libraries, and managing open source contributions and issues from the community.
- Assisting teams inside Coinbase building onchain products, leveraging industry best practices and modern dapp development patterns.
- Building key components of the OP Stack to further the decentralization of Base and other L2s.
What We Look For in You
- You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, and at least 4 years of experience in developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern js frameworks like React and NextJS.
- You've developed and shipped user-facing features with onchain components.
- You're familiar with current trends and best practices in frontend architecture and dapp development, including security, performance, and usability.
- You're familiar with product and design lifecycles, and collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- You write high quality, well tested and maintainable code.
Nice to Haves
- You've worked with Golang, Geth, Foundry, Solidity.
- You have contributed to open source crypto projects, for example OP Stack contributions or Base contributions.
- Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
- You've built responsive web or mobile applications.
