Join Our Engineering Team as a Fullstack Engineer
sennder, Europe's leading digital freight forwarder, is seeking a talented Fullstack Engineer to join our Settlements team. This role is pivotal in revolutionizing road freight logistics through digitalization and automation. We are looking for a front-end heavy Fullstack Engineer to work in our Engineering department, with opportunities available in our Berlin, Barcelona, and Madrid offices.
What You Will Do
As a Fullstack Engineer, you will:
- Design and Implement Solutions: Develop solutions for our internal operators to enhance their efficiency and performance.
- Build Applications: Create new frontend applications and backend services using cutting-edge technologies such as VueJS, TypeScript, Python, and AWS.
- Contribute to Architectural Vision: Participate in shaping our architectural standards and vision within a dynamic and open-minded engineering team.
- Conduct Code Reviews: Ensure code quality and adherence to both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Engage in Product Development: Be involved in customer journeys, discovery, prioritization, and planning of our product.
- Mentor and Share Expertise: Grow to mentor other engineers and share your expertise within the team.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Over 4 years of experience in front-end development using modern frameworks, preferably VueJS, and technologies like TypeScript and micro-frontends.
- Testing Skills: Experience with unit and integration tests, familiarity with Jest or Vitest.
- Backend Proficiency: Strong skills in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Agile Experience: Experience working in agile teams focused on customer impacts.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of Terraform, Kafka, and Datadog is advantageous.
