About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic team at AfterHour, a pioneering financial community platform. This role is crucial for someone who thrives in the early stages of building and is eager to develop the must-have social app for the modern investor.
What You'll Do
- Code extensively in TypeScript and JavaScript, focusing on both frontend and backend development for our React Native app.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, engineers, and designers to define features, iterate, test, and launch new functionalities weekly.
- Engage with our user community through various platforms like our app, Discord, or Twitter, addressing their issues and incorporating feedback into development priorities.
- Play a significant role in shaping the company's strategy and influencing the product roadmap.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, and advanced Web platform APIs.
- Experience with popular modern libraries and frameworks such as React Native, MobX, and NestJS.
- A proven track record of developing consumer apps, particularly from scratch (0 to 1 stage), and managing large-scale or real-time applications with optimized performance.
