Job Overview
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Data Analytics Engineering & Integration team in Ridley Park, PA. This is a contract position where you will be at the forefront of transforming how BDS data is sourced, managed, and utilized to drive business growth and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create scalable web applications that enable users to perform self-service analytics.
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to deliver robust analytics solutions.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the entire stack, including front-end, back-end, and database layers.
- API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development lifecycle, including CI/CD practices, testing, and deployment automation.
- Agile Environment: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills
- Front-end Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Back-end Technologies: Strong skills in Python and Java.
- Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Data Visualization: Knowledge of tools like D3.js, Tableau, or Power BI.
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience Level
- Senior Level: 7+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
