About the Role
Kiddom is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role is pivotal in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets. You will work closely with various departments, including Product, Engineering, Machine Learning, and Analytics, to understand and cater to their data and ML needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Build Data Pipelines: Develop scalable data pipelines to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Integrate Machine Learning Models: Work with data scientists to deploy and monitor ML models in production, enhancing analytics capabilities.
- Optimize ML Models: Develop and optimize ML models for predictive analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with other engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration with high availability.
- Monitor and Optimize Infrastructure: Keep an eye on the data infrastructure for performance bottlenecks and implement necessary optimizations.
What We Look For
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years as a data engineer and 8+ years in software engineering, including data engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Amazon SageMaker for building, training, and deploying machine learning models.
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda for serverless execution of code.
- Familiarity with AWS Glue or similar ETL tools.
- Proficiency in using Amazon S3 for data storage and retrieval.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL.
- Understanding of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for managing permissions and security.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices for automating the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models.
