Role Overview
As a Senior Node.js Software Engineer at Adecco, you will be tasked with building and delivering high-quality software solutions. This role involves designing and architecting robust applications, primarily using TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks like React or Vue.js. You will work closely with an Architect, Product Owner, and Developers to oversee entire features from concept to deployment in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications according to best practices.
- Contribute to overall company goals through effective software solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software features.
- Oversee the development lifecycle of features, from planning and design to testing and deployment.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of applications.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and either React or Vue.js.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in designing and building large-scale applications.
- Strong experience in REST API development, preferably with Node.js/NestJS.
- Expertise in CI/CD, networking, operational resiliency, failover, and disaster recovery, preferably with AWS.
- Knowledge of various relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Experience working in an Agile, Cloud, CI/CD environment.

- Candidates must be based in Ireland with valid work authorization. Visa sponsorship is not available.
