The Role
As a Senior Python Developer in Developer Infrastructure at Palantir Technologies, you will be pivotal in transforming how organizations globally use data. Your primary focus will be on developing Python-based infrastructure that supports the velocity and quality of engineering across the company. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities from building software supply-chain systems to enhancing platform runtime environments and improving telemetry for concurrency and memory/performance optimizations.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and build standard practices for how services are operated and observed throughout their deployment.
- Develop libraries and tooling for defining service APIs and the RPC interactions between microservices.
- Help developers adhere to best practices by creating effective tools and processes.
- Push the boundaries of software supply chain security.
Technologies We Use
You will work with a variety of technologies including Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, and open-source databases like Cassandra and Elasticsearch. Familiarity with industry-standard build tooling such as Gradle, Webpack, and GitHub is also essential.
