Oivan is seeking a highly experienced Software Architect to join our dynamic team in Helsinki. With over 8 years of experience in software development, particularly in Google Cloud Platform and microservices architecture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital services.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Software Architect at Oivan, you will:

• Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with our development teams to define and implement technical requirements for microservices architecture, including deployment strategies, monitoring, and instrumentation.
• Analyze and Improve System Architecture: Evaluate existing system architecture and recommend improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design and Implement Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain new products and services using Ruby on Rails (or Golang) for the backend and Angular for the frontend.
• Develop Technical Specifications: Create technical specifications and design documents to guide the development team in implementing solutions.
• Oversee CI/CD Pipelines: Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and Terraform for infrastructure management and deployments.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct Code Reviews: Identify best practices and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.

What You Bring

• Technical Expertise: Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, Angular, Go, Google Cloud Platform, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Tools: Familiarity with Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), Google Cloud Build, Terraform, IaaC, Google Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine, Docker, Stripe, Contentful, REST, GraphQL, and CI/CD.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead a team.
