Join Our Team as a Senior DevOps Engineer

Revinate is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps champion, you will play a crucial role in enabling our software development teams to move fast, securely, and efficiently. This is a remote position based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where you will support our global engineering teams across the U.S., Amsterdam, Singapore, Costa Rica, Vietnam, and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the Go-To Expert: As a team of specialists, you will be at the forefront, providing expertise and mentorship on all things DevOps.
• Developer Self-Service Tools: Design, extend, and create tools that empower developers, reducing tedium and "firefighting."
• Documentation: Aggressively document processes to eliminate "tribal knowledge."
• Infrastructure Support: Improve the velocity and self-sufficiency of development teams by providing tools, documentation, and expertise.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, and extend automated deployment pipelines supporting continuous integration and delivery for multiple teams.
• DevOps Processes: Develop, document, and champion DevOps processes and tools across the organization.
• On-Call Responsibility: Share team on-call responsibility for our always-on 24/7, high-availability SaaS platform, focusing on performance and scalability.
• Troubleshooting: Go hands-on to troubleshoot issues and outages, craft new solutions, and manage our AWS/GCP costs.
• Service Enablement: Enable and support services onto EKS and GKE.

What You'll Bring

• Innovative Solutions: A love for creating solutions that solve problems before they arise.
• Expertise: In-depth working knowledge of DevOps practices with at least 7 years of experience.
• Coding/Scripting Skills: Solid coding/scripting skills with at least 7 years of experience.
• Cloud and Network Skills: Foundational skills in AWS, GCP, Linux, Windows 2012+, VMWare, and networking.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Strong experience automating cloud and on-premises infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines like GitLab.
• Kubernetes/GKE: Deep understanding of Kubernetes and GKE.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with telecom stack (Freeswitch, NTEX, WebRTC, or telecom-as-a-service like Twilio) and knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Nagios, Datadog, Graylog, Elastic Search).
