Job Overview
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our AWS Infrastructure Services team. This role involves designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring high reliability and scalability for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art Linux based networking platforms.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers.
- Work on embedded routing platforms that enable one of the world's largest and complex networks.
- Design and implement Linux-based solutions on embedded devices, ideally for networking products.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience with a focus on reliability and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
