About the Role
Join the AI team at Clay as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to the development of Claygent, an agentic researcher equipped with a variety of tools to fetch information from the web and internal data sources. You will be responsible for building on the capabilities of our agent and implementing cutting-edge applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) in the Go-To-Market (GTM) field.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement tools and processes to monitor model behavior, performance, and alignment with user needs.
- Develop innovative LLM-powered capabilities and product experiences.
- Manage production AI/ML workloads, including infrastructure, telemetry, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest models, paradigms, and frameworks in the LLM space.
What You'll Bring
- Strong product intuition and the ability to think broadly and cross-functionally.
- Experience with LLM-based reasoning engines, memory modules, evaluation, and simulation environments.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- 4+ years of experience in software development, particularly in AI/ML.
Nice to Haves
- A strong vision for autonomous agents in the GTM space.
- Experience with instruction tuning, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), and parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques.
- Background in infrastructure or platform development to support AI/ML hires.
Representative Projects
- Build AI-powered growth playbooks and strategic account insights.
- Implement LLM observability for debugging and tracing agent reasoning.
- Develop a meta-prompting tool to enhance user prompts.
- Create a prompt playground for comparing prompts and models.
- Use multimodal LLMs to generate sales content in various formats.
