Overview
Guideline is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance our engineering team's capabilities as we expand our product line to make retirement savings accessible to more people. This role is ideal for someone passionate about using modern software solutions to revolutionize an antiquated industry.
What You Will Work On
- Develop full stack software solutions from scratch.
- Create user interfaces and work with message queuing infrastructure.
- Streamline operations and design systems architecture.
- Collaborate with a team of passionate technologists to automate administrative tasks and build unique solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in building consumer-facing software products.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go) and one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, API design, and security best practices.
- Interest in learning about running modern distributed systems environments with Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP.
