Position Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer I at Pax8, you will lead the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge software solutions, focusing on the Opportunity Explorer feature within the Pax8 Platform. Your role involves technical leadership, from project inception to deployment, ensuring all projects meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Lead the development of the Opportunity Explorer feature, driving sales and partner recommendations.
- Collaborate with data teams to visualize information innovatively.
- Participate in design and code reviews, swarming, and pair programming sessions.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ideal Candidate
- 5 to 8 years of software development experience with a focus on backend development.
- Proficient in Kotlin and familiar with microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead projects and teams.
- Experience in an agile development environment.
