Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Lightning Intelligence team, you will be at the forefront of enhancing Lightning usage within Block's Bitcoin Platform. This role involves significant backend development, focusing on improving data about the lightning network and helping partners make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build systems to assess and act on risks to our Lightning services.
- Integrate with third-party data sources to enhance our risk engine.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and ensure system robustness.
- Own the lifecycle of the systems you develop, from design through to deployment and beyond.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in large-scale platform development.
- Strong background in backend systems, databases, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Bitcoin/Lightning or a strong desire to learn.
- Proven ability to work across teams and disciplines.
