Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our client's pioneering legal tech company, specializing in AI-driven solutions for automating time tracking and billing in law firms. This role is based in the New York City Metropolitan Area and requires on-site presence.
Responsibilities
- Design and Build Scalable Applications: Lead the design and development of scalable applications across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
- Technical Direction: Set technical direction and establish best practices for the development team.
- Serverless Backend and Microservices: Work with serverless backend technologies and Go microservices to ensure a seamless and efficient backend infrastructure.
- AI Integration: Utilize experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar technologies to integrate advanced AI capabilities into our products.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with strong skills in TypeScript, React, and AWS. Experience with Go is a plus but not required.
- Application Development: Proficiency in developing web-based, desktop, and mobile applications.
- AI Technologies: Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar technologies.
- Education: Graduates from Computer Science programs are preferred, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- LegalTech Experience: Experience in LegalTech is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with AWS and Go: Familiarity with these technologies is beneficial but not mandatory.
