About the Role
As a Senior Front End Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the professional services experience on AWS Marketplace, including AWS IQ and Marketplace Professional Services. You will lead the development and improvement of backend services that power our front-end web applications, ensuring high usability and performance for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
- Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment, leading fundamental changes in the industry.
- Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
- Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web, or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience.
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.
