What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer at PointOne, you will have the opportunity to own and ship products that revolutionize time tracking and billing for law firms. You will engage directly with customers through various communication channels like Slack, Teams, video, and phone calls to understand their needs and prioritize development tasks.
Daily Responsibilities
- Engage with customers: Start your day by joining a call with a managing partner at a law firm to discuss integration needs and gather feedback.
- Rapid development: Draft and execute plans for new features, sometimes targeting same-day turnarounds based on priority.
- Troubleshoot and optimize: Address capacity issues as they arise and work collaboratively to resolve them quickly.
- Deploy and inform: Complete features like the Slack communication integration, deploy the code, and inform stakeholders of new capabilities.
- Customer onboarding: Lead onboarding calls for new customers, ensuring they understand and are satisfied with the product.
Our Tech
PointOne utilizes a fully serverless backend built on AWS, with a collection of Go microservices. Our client applications are developed using React and TypeScript across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. We also create our own RAG pipelines.
