What You Will Do

• Build Software: Develop software that helps companies foster cultures where employees thrive. Collaborate with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack, including React, Relay Modern, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL. We use AWS to host our infrastructure.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other product teams to understand and address overarching pain points.
• Project Execution: Lead the execution of complex projects, including those requiring cross-functional collaboration with product managers and designers.
• Mentorship: Provide significant mentorship to less experienced colleagues, helping them refine their technical skills and expand their knowledge.
• Engineering Practices: Contribute to our engineering practices by identifying and promoting improvements to enhance team output.

What You Will Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in writing and maintaining production-level applications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Ruby, Python, etc. Experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• System Building: Experience in building systems adopted by the wider engineering organization.
• Debugging and Operations: Ability to efficiently model data, write performant queries, and handle operations tasks such as monitoring application performance and troubleshooting production issues.
• Communication: Clear and concise in explaining your thought process and the tradeoffs made in your work.
• Mentorship: Passion for mentoring and supporting other software engineers who are newer to the industry.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: €121,500 - €199,500 annually.
• Equity: Eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans.
