Overview
Skechers is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our team in developing custom applications and integrations. This role is pivotal in driving the transformation of our engineering practices towards high-performing, cloud-native APIs and applications using a modern technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers. Foster an environment of innovation, excellence, and high-velocity delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Bring expertise in Full Stack Development, Boomi, Integrations, API gateways, and Agile software delivery.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the development of full stack applications and APIs hosted on AWS. Ensure projects align with business objectives and are delivered on schedule.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external technical experts to implement solutions that meet business needs.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of engineering management experience.
- Strong command of JavaScript, NodeJS, Svelte, AWS, and SQL.
- Experience with Dell Boomi and API Gateways.
Additional Skills
- Experience in building and scaling REST APIs.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and integration design patterns.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
