What You'll Do
As a Senior Solution Analyst at BCG X, you will join the SmartBanking AI / CO2 FI product team, focusing on a new AI-based product offering in the climate and sustainability space. This role is crucial in helping financial institutions in their climate action journey. You will leverage your data engineering and software development skills, particularly in Python, to drive product development and ensure successful customization and deployment on client projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sustainability solutions for BCG clients using the CO2 FI Python-based framework.
- Become a product expert and the go-to person on client projects utilizing CO2 FI.
- Support clients in using CO2 FI and provide topic expertise to business users.
- Coordinate technical and data requirements with client IT teams for seamless integration.
- Drive product development, maintain and extend the CO2 FI product platform.
- Take ownership of new product features development in close alignment with the product owner and cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in global sustainability frameworks in banking.
- Support business development with product demonstrations.
You're Good At

- Working on data-driven software products or analytics engagements, ideally for financial institutions.
- Strong product mindset to support consulting teams in building lasting software solutions.
You Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
- Preferred Master’s degree in quantitative sciences or business administration with relevant exposure to quantitative analytics.
- 3-5 years of experience in a consulting environment.
- Strong skills in data engineering and software development, particularly in Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Efficient communication of analytical insights through various formats.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of banking processes and sustainability topics for financial institutions.
- Experience with risk modelling and climate frameworks like PACTA, PCAF, SBTi.
