Why Box Needs You
Our Warsaw office is a key part of our EMEA expansion, serving as a global engineering and product development hub. We're looking to grow our engineering team by over 100 members in 2024. You'll have the opportunity to join one of several teams, tackling some of the toughest challenges in content management.
Who You Are
You bring over 10 years of software development experience, with proficiency in Java (preferred), PHP, or Scala. You have a strong background in designing and developing APIs, and a deep understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
Your Role
- E-Commerce Platform: You'll be responsible for building systems that enable customers of all sizes to manage their Box subscription through our self-service experiences.
Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Java, PHP, or Scala
- Experienced in designing and developing APIs
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Proficient in object-oriented programming
Methodology
- Agile management using Scrum
- Issue tracking with Jira
- Knowledge repository in Confluence
- Code reviews via GitHub
- Version control with GIT
