Job Overview
ScriptRunner Software GmbH, a leading IT automation company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior System Engineer to join our team in Ettlingen, Germany. This role is pivotal in supporting our customers with the implementation and integration of ScriptRunner, providing professional scripting services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Customer Happiness: Act as the first point of contact for our customers, providing comprehensive support for all inquiries and issues related to ScriptRunner.
- Implementation and Integration: Assist in the implementation of ScriptRunner and its seamless integration into existing IT infrastructures.
- Scripting Services: Deliver scripting services, developing customized solutions based on Powershell.
- Consultation and Training: Advise customers on optimizing their IT processes and conduct training sessions on the effective use of ScriptRunner.
- Helpdesk Support: Assist our helpdesk, including on-call duty for approximately 5% on bank holidays.
- Documentation: Help in creating technical documentation and guides for our customers.
- Community Engagement: Attend trade shows and community events at home and abroad, in person, virtually or hybrid.
Candidate Profile
- Professional Experience: Several years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role, ideally with a focus on IT infrastructures.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive expertise in IT infrastructures, Microsoft ecosystems (Windows servers, applications, cloud services), Active Directory, Azure AD, virtualization, networking, and security.
- Powershell Expert: Excellent knowledge and extensive practical experience in using and creating Powershell scripts.
- Customer Orientation: Strong communication skills and a passion for customer interaction.
- Self-Reliance: High level of initiative and the ability to work independently and solution-oriented.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team and a willingness to share your knowledge and experience.
