Overview
Join Ascon Systems, a pioneering force in the Industrial Metaverse, as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Our team is dedicated to redefining automation and bridging the gap between physical and cyber-physical systems. Since our inception in 2017, we have been at the forefront of developing no-code tools that simplify process automation and control, making it accessible to a broad audience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code based approaches for deploying solutions in edge, cloud, and hybrid scenarios.
- Develop Helm Charts and a Kubernetes Operator to simplify installation and operation.
- Continuously develop and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement DevSecOps best practices to enhance security in development processes.
- Further develop our observability approach to collect and provide metrics, logs, and traces of both our application and infrastructure.
- Document and actively transfer knowledge among team members.
- Provide tools, guidelines, and templates to enable efficient development.
Qualifications
- Degree or vocational training in IT or a related field.
- In-depth experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure DevOps).
- Proven experience in developing Helm Charts.
- Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes operators is advantageous.
- Experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably Azure.
- High service orientation in supporting users and customers.
- Excellent English skills and good German language proficiency.

Location
This position is available in Mainz, Munich, Stuttgart, or as a remote option, providing flexibility to work from home or on-site, reflecting our hybrid work model.
