ING Nederland is seeking a skilled Credit Risk Test Engineer to join our Group Finance and Risk Reporting Product team. This team is responsible for delivering, documenting, and maintaining solutions for data-driven regulatory and finance reporting with credit risk data.

About the Role

As a Credit Risk Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary squad, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other Test Engineers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in different stages of stories from Business Analysis to the end of test cycles.
• Performing various kinds of testing: System Test, Functional Test, Integration Test.
• Defining test strategies, test plans, and test cases, and implementing improvements.
• Executing tests and reporting on quality and processes.
• Fulfilling the QA role within the squad and chapter.
• Assessing and accepting delivered software and securing quality.
• Driving the increase of automation in end-to-end chain tests.
• Creating automated tests, conducting manual testing, and increasing test coverage.
• Liaising with other teams and areas of expertise.

How to Succeed

We are looking for smart, curious individuals who are eager to learn and take on responsibility. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Excellent knowledge and experience with different test methodologies, test design techniques, and test automation.
• Experience with data comparison tools and Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, query writing, and tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps and setting up Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with front-end testing using Selenium, BDD (TDD), Cucumber, and Rest Assured.
• Good scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Basic knowledge and experience with data warehousing and data models.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing (Jmeter, Gatling).
• Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI).
• Familiarity with ELK monitoring and specific Credit Risk testing experience.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive and takes initiative.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Certifications

• Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate.
• Python Oracle Certified Associate (OCA).
• Agile Test Certification (ISTQB Agile Tester Extension or Certified Agile Tester) or TMAP.
• Certified Software Test Automation Specialist.
